The Ellington Companies are a full-service site development team and the leading force among contractors in our class. Our company was formed in 1994 when Fred, David and Matt Ellington opened as Ellington Contractors, Inc., working mainly on water and sewer utility projects as a subcontractor. Since then the operation has grown to into a general contracting firm able to provide all aspects of site development with a workforce of over 50 enthusiastic, highly qualified and experienced personnel. Our large mechanical fleet is made up of a full compliment of up-to-date, well-maintained, heavy, medium and light equipment. We are licensed in North Carolina and Virginia as Unlimited/Unclassified contractors.
